When I should use "Agentless" managed device?!

Please can you tell me what are the cases that I should use the "Agentless" option for the managed devices?

Hello
For example when you have to monitor some vendor appliances, that run windows, but on which you cannot install anything, be cause if you do, you are not supported anymore.

In the situations I implemented agentless monitoring it was not preferred to install any additional code on the monitored machine.
In the case of an agentless monitored machine you will receive less in debt information because not all managment packs will function or function in their optimal way. There will be a higher load on the management servers, more work has to be done on the
MS.

Just be aware that you need a license to monitor agentlessly and that most management packs (e.g. sql \ exchange \ AD) won't work agentlessly.
I'd suggest "only as a last resort" as it is resource intensive on the management server that is doing the remote monitoring.Regards Graham New System Center 2012 Blog! -
