In the situations I implemented agentless monitoring it was not preferred to install any additional code on the monitored machine. In the case of an agentless monitored machine you will receive less in debt information because not all managment packs will function or function in their optimal way. There will be a higher load on the management servers, more work has to be done on the MS.

Just be aware that you need a license to monitor agentlessly and that most management packs (e.g. sql \ exchange \ AD) won't work agentlessly.
